Asma RouabhiaEl Khadra Sustainable: a better Tunisia for all

    Asma Rouabhia is a young Tunisian lady with passion for youth leadership development, the sustainable development agenda and empowering vulnerable communities. She previously worked with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in the Recovery and Resilience Team within the Peace Division on CSO capacity building. Asma is one of UNESCO’s Young Arab Leaders in ESD and Green TVET. She was a member of the technical working group focused on achieving the SDGs through a just and inclusive energy transition in the UN High Level Dialogue on Energy 2021. She is also part of the SDG7 Technical Advisory Group with UNDESA and she is a Global Focal Point for the SDG& Youth Constituency. Asma is the founder of Elkhadra Sustainable: A Better Tunisia for All which promotes the spirit and solutions of sustainability among Tunisian youth. Since July 2021, she has been serving as the MENA Regional Manager of Girl Up Initiative at the United Nations Foundation.
