Prof Christopher Dent is an international political economist at Edge Hill University, where he also is Leader of SustainNET – a network community seeking to advance the sustainability agenda in Northwest England. His research expertise is mainly focused on linkages between trade, energy and climate change, with a special focus on the East Asia and Asia-Pacific region. Christopher has also worked closely with REN21 over the years, and was lead author of the 2021 GSR’s feature chapter on Business Demand for Renewable Energy.
