Neeraj Kuldeep has more than eight years of experience as a public policy professional, supporting the development of solar and wind markets in India. Over the years, he has worked closely with central ministries and states on developing new policy frameworks, supporting regulatory amendments, forming new market mechanisms, assessing risks, providing implementation support etc.

Neeraj’s research at The Council revolves around bringing energy transition closer to communities by devising solution for an accelerated adoption of distributed RE among households. His interest also lies in making renewable energy deployment truely sustainable and equitable by supporting circular economy in RE sector, creating framework for responsible RE deployment and capturing co-benefits of RE.

Neeraj holds an undergraduate degree in Energy Science and Engineering and an M. Tech in Energy Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.
