3C The New Rules of Renewable Energy Supply Chains

With the world’s insatiable hunger for ever more energy, the renewable energy sector must think long and hard about strategies to overcome potential limitations in its supply chains. Constraints include competition for land use, rare minerals and natural resources, human rights as well as trade rules that may impede the use of local content and development of local and regional supply chains. This session will identify risks and impacts to the sector’s operations, the hazards of commodity dependence and discuss how to change the “rules of the game”.
