Alexandra Tudoroiu-Lakavice leads the development of COGEN Europe’s policy and regulatory work on energy and climate action – engaging closely with members and policymakers to promote energy efficiency and the further uptake of cogeneration in Europe. She has extensive experience with EU projects, including PACE, Heat Roadmap Europe, CODE2, ene.field and CHP Goes Green. In addition to advocacy and project work, Alexandra co-ordinates COGEN Europe’s National Snapshot Survey on national cogeneration market trends and policy implementation. Alexandra joined COGEN Europe in 2012 as a policy officer, having previously worked for the European SME Association (SMEunited) and DG Climate Action at the European Commission in Brussels. Alexandra holds a MA degree in International Political Economy with a specialisation in Energy and Climate Policy from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany.
