    Sharon Gil is a cities and sustainable land management expert working for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Her work spans the demand side of renewable energy in cities to the supply chain around critical metals and minerals. Sharon has worked globally in the field of sustainable urban development and sustainable land management for over 20 years. She studied urban planning and architecture at the University of Hong Kong and has a masters in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York.
